Payroll

The Staffology-synced employee register: employers, employees, payslips.

A read-only register, by design

Payroll in AccountantOS is the register, not the engine. Staffology runs the payroll; AccountantOS syncs the result so the whole client is visible in one place — who’s employed, what they were paid, director flags, payroll codes and statuses. There is no second place to make a payroll mistake, because there is no editing here.

Employers → employees → payslips

The register drills down: the client’s employer record, its employees, and each employee’s payslips. Directors are flagged; statuses (current, leaver) carry through from Staffology.

How syncing works

The practice connects Staffology once with its API key (Settings → Staffology). Employers on the Staffology side are matched to AccountantOS clients — automatically where names align, by hand where they don’t — and employees and payslips sync from there. See Integrations for the connection itself.

What Payroll is not

NoteYou cannot run payroll, amend pay or file RTI from AccountantOS — deliberately. The payroll engine stays the source of truth; this page is how the rest of the practice sees it without a second login.
