The folder tree
Every client has its own folder tree — upload, download, preview, move, drag-and-drop. The All / Recent / Starred views cut across folders when you know the file but not where it was filed.
The two-sided approval workflow
A document can require sign-off from the advisor side, the client side, or both — independently tracked, visible as two ticks on the row. “Have they approved the draft accounts?” is a glance, not an email search. Folders roll the state up as done / waiting-on-advisor / waiting-on-client bars, so a drawer full of documents reads at a glance too.
What the client sees
Client users open the same tree for their own company: they can upload, download and approve in place. Their approvals land on the same record yours do — one workflow, two sides.
